Description

The entire Aircraft underwent a meticulous restoration, costing over a million dollars to achieve museum-worthy piece. The fuselage has been installed in a factory jig and reskinned; this structure has been cleaned, inspected, stripped, corrosion-protected, and primed. The aft fuselage has been disassembled, inspected, cleaned, re-primed, and new skins have been installed.

Main wing sections are new Navy surplus parts that have been cleaned, inspected, and primed. Outer wing panels have been completely disassembled and inspected, with new skins installed. Dual control switching system.

Vertical Stabilizers
Horizontal Stabilizers (rebuilt to strengthened T-28D specifications)
Control Cables

All new or overhauled placards. All critical fittings have been NDI tested. All tubing has been replaced with new components. All hydraulic components have been overhauled. Overhauled landing gear struts. Fuel cells overhauled. Instruments overhauled. New instrument panels fabricated and installed.
